Scalp / Hair loss treatments

Scalp Facial,
This treatment is a good all-rounder for problematic scalps.
Hydra exfoliation has specific serums for oily or dry scalp types.
By exfoliating the scalp it will reduce the amount of flaking into the hair when brushed.
When the scalp is overproducing oil it can lead to hair becoming greasy daily, strong shampoos with abrasive products can further add to problems drying the scalp itself, triggering even more oil production.
Build of oil/skin/ products on the scalp can impede hair growth and hair thinning.
Dry scalps reduce natural oil production reaching the hair making it dry and brittle. Removing flakey skin and hydrating the scalp will improve hair follicle health encouraging hair growth and improving hair health.
Consultations for this treatment can be done before appointment.

Medical needling for hair loss
Microneedling is a treatment to produce increased amounts of collagen, which is said to replenish hair growth by regenerating hair follicles and nourishing hair proteins.
A microneedling Pen which contains small needles is used for the hair loss treatment. The needles pierce the skin and cause wounds, without bleeding, which helps produce more collagen for healthy hair and new skin cells as they heal, helping strengthen hair follicles.
Some of the latest research has shown that microneedling improves the efficiency of topical medications used on the scalp, like minoxidil for the treatment of androgenic alopecia and triamcinolone for the treatment of alopecia areata. As well as creating impressive results as a standalone treatment.
The way micro-needling works when used as a combination therapy is by creating micro-channels in the scalp, which improves the absorption of topical treatments.
When the medication is applied following micro-needling, it makes its way down the microchannels, caused by the small punctures in the skin. The microchannels prevent the medication from being blocked by the top layer of the skin and support it on its journey to the level where the hair follicles exist. This intensifies the results of the medication, creating greater results, often quicker!
