Before Tattoo removal

Before coming for laser treatment ensure the area is hair free you should shave the area the day of treatment.

The area should be tan free fake or real, the area being tanned could postpone treatment so an accurate skin analysis can be preformed.

Local Anaesthetic cream is available on request at consultation.

Please let us know of any allergies on consultation. Consultation forms will need to be filled out on first session.

After care

After treatment your skin will be red with a raised rash for a short time after ice packs are available and offered post treatment.

When at home applying an ice pack or frozen peas wrapped in a tea towel will help with the swelling and redness. Some pin point bleeding is normal after care gel is applied after treatment which will help it heal and scab. Post treatment advice sheet will be given with recommendations of gels to use at home.

Post treatment your skin is more sensitive to the sun. Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 1 week after treatment. Cover the area with clothing and use a sunscreen with at least SPF30.

Things to Avoid

  • Picking or scratching the scabs (this can cause scarring)

  • Using soap or perfumed products on the area for the first 48 hours

  • Strenuous physical activities for a couple of days

  • Swimming and saunas until the scab has dropped off (they may slow the healing process)
